Fashion Forward
The last FD project before our final involves of designing 6 pairs of suits with references to the trends of the past, present and future. This is the first project where I made use of the skills taught in CAD FD class.
Enough of introductions, here goes nothing...

Mood Picture
Fashion = Art?
Product development was the name of the game. We had to choose a designer's Spring or Fall collection that has a minimum of 40 outfits, draw technical drawings corresponding to the outfits that shown on the runway during fashion week, form a collection plan and present about it. I chose Donna Karan's Spring/ Summer 2006, she had 44 outfits total, mostly dresses, so it was not too bad.
Here's my own rendition of her mood picture:
And here are some of the technical drawings that i did, with their respective outfit (photos from style.com):

Pants Project P2
Mis(kitsch), exaggerated of course, first time coloring with acrylic for me
The GlobeTrekker, inspired by my adventurous friends
Lady Goth, the figurine was created by collage of fabrics and materials

Somehow, I could not upload the mood picture for Princess Army, will try again later, but here's the design

Remember the pics from the previous blog? I used Photoshop to retouch the colors and create the above mood pictures =)
Yoeng's Streetcam (Pants Project P1)
Disclaimer: Pictures overload
The next project was something that scared the hell out of me, .. initially. We had to go round town to get 50 shots of street fashion, categorize them into 5 different styles and incorporate them as press research in our mood picture. I was rejected a couple of times, but finally managed to exceed the targeted minimum. Here are some of the pics that I think are most post worthy, (pre-touched), in random order:

Missing!
I'm missing the 3rd project which is a project involving designing 2 dresses for 2 different people (I chose Missy Elliot and Devon Aoki) with patterns. I think it's still lying on my teacher's desk, and maybe if I drop by school I'll try to retrieve it and post it sometime later.
Viva Victoria
Cheesy title I know, but I couldn't think of a better one. It's my 2nd project, still within the theme of Street Victorian, with Queen Victoria as the muse:
